Privacy Policy
Last updated September 12, 2026
This is a draft, starter document describing what this site actually does today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, is not a substitute for legal advice, and should not be relied on for legal compliance until it has been reviewed by qualified counsel familiar with your jurisdiction and applicable data protection law (for example CCPA, GDPR, or other regional requirements). We are publishing it now because this site already collects information — email addresses, and accounts for people setting up a rep — and we would rather be transparent about our current practices than have no policy at all.
This policy explains what information 247 Reps, Inc. (“247reps,” “we,” or “us”) collects through this website and how it is used. 247reps is pre-launch. Today you can join our launch list, set up a rep with us, and send us a bug report, and what we collect depends on which of those you do. We will update this policy as the site changes.
Information we collect
- If you join our launch list — your email address.
- If you set up a rep with us — your email address, which becomes your account; your business’s name; the answers you give while setting it up, including earlier versions of an answer you change; what we read from your website if you give us its address; what you approve, pause or test; the steps you take while setting up, saved with a random visit number that is sent to us with your email when you give it; and a record of each sign-in, with the browser and device it came from.
- If you send a bug report — what you write, the page and the spot you pinned it to, your window size, and your email address if you type one or are signed in.
- If you use the feedback form while testing the setup — what you choose and write in it, with your visit number and the website or kind of business you gave.
- Your IP address — read when your browser sends us something, and used only to limit how often one internet address can send us requests, to stop automated abuse. It is held in the server’s memory, and is not written to a database or used to identify you.
There are no passwords: you sign in with a link we email you. The one exception is the first time you set up with an email address that’s new to us, which signs you in straight away. Nothing on this site asks for payment details.
No outside company’s analytics runs on this site, and we don’t keep a history of the pages you visit or where you came from.
How we use your information
- To email you about our launch and send you updates. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To set up your rep: to ask you the right questions, suggest answers from your website, and keep your answers.
- To sign you in: we email you sign-in links, and a notice about new sign-ins to your account.
- To see where people stop while setting up a rep, so we can improve it.
- To keep track of what the AI work for your account costs. Those records hold how much AI was used and what it cost, never what was said.
- To fix what bug reports and feedback point out, and to stop automated abuse of the site.
Where your information is kept
Your email address is added to our signup list, which is held by our email delivery provider. A notification is sent to our own team when someone signs up — if you signed up while setting up a rep, it includes the website or kind of business you gave the rep, and your visit number. Your account, your answers, bug reports, and the records of setup steps and AI usage are kept in our own databases, which run on our cloud hosting provider. Sign-ups, setup steps and bug reports are also written to our server’s activity log, held by the same provider, which we use to check the site is working.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site. They handle your information only to provide their service to us, and not for their own purposes:
- An email delivery provider — holds our signup list, and sends our launch, update, sign-in and notification emails.
- A cloud hosting provider — runs this website and our databases, and holds the server activity logs described above.
- A content delivery and security network — sits in front of this site to keep it fast and to protect it from attacks. As a result it processes the traffic to this site, including your IP address.
- An AI model provider — when you set up a rep, your answers and questions, and the text of the website you give us, are sent to it. It reads your site, suggests answers, renames the parts of your map to fit your business, words what the rep says to you, drafts a greeting if you ask, and plays your rep in practice conversations before it can go live.
If you would like to know exactly which companies these are, email us using the details below and we will tell you.
We do not otherwise share your information with third parties, except where required by law.
Data retention
We keep your email address on the launch list for as long as we need it to tell you about our launch and send the updates you signed up for. We keep your account, and what it holds, for as long as you have it; when you sign out, the record of that sign-in is kept, marked as ended. Bug reports are kept as a record of what was found. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — contact us using the details below, and we will delete it.
Your choices
- You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time.
- You can sign out of any device from your account settings.
- Everything here is optional: you don’t have to join the launch list, set up a rep, or send a bug report.
Cookies
This site sets two cookies. Both are strictly necessary — the site needs them to work:
- A sign-in cookie, set when you sign in, so that you stay signed in. It lasts up to 30 days, stops working when you sign out, is deleted from the device you sign out on, and can’t be read by scripts on the page.
- A short-lived security cookie, placed by the content delivery and security network in front of this site, to protect it from automated abuse.
Neither is used to track you. When you use your dashboard, your browser also keeps a few small settings on your own device — whether sound is muted, and which reminders you have already seen or heard during this visit. They are never sent to us.
There are no analytics cookies here and no advertising cookies of any kind. We do not track you across other websites.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold and use encrypted connections to this site. Sign-in links and sign-in cookies are stored only as one-way codes, so a copy of our database could not be used to sign in as you. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy as 247reps changes — for example, when reps start working for businesses — and we change the “last updated” date above when we do.
